A Quick Check-In
It has been quite a while since I have blogged on here. I am still living in the Sunshine State and loving it! I have been so heartbroken reading about the state of your government Richmond. I am sad that your new Governor is a right-wing, gay hating, bigot. I am sorry that Fred Phelps invaded your town and tried to spread his message of hate and fear. What the GLBTQ Community has the chance to do now, is build bridges and to come together. I hope that your community will do this.
For those of you still following this blog, I definitely appreciate it. I have gotten a few emails from people saying they wish that I still posted on here, so I am going to make an effort. Obviously I cannot post on current issues in Richmond, since I am not there. The best blog for your GLBTQ news is still www.gayrva.com.
