Signing Off
This is my last post. The RVA Outsider is relocating to sunny St. Peterburg, FL to begin the next chapter in my life.
I wish Richmond good luck. Good luck in becoming more welcoming to people and accepting those who may not have been born here or have blood ties here, but those who are looking for acceptance, friendship, and community in your small city.

Sorry to read that you decided to call it quits with this blog. I just read it today 3/8/10 for the 1st time. I totally can understand your comments about moving to a new city and having a difficult time “fitting in”
I have encountered the same especially as I have gotten older. I’m 55 – I returned to an area where I spent some time growing up, to be near my aging parent. But I find myself lonely and bored. I am thinking about maybe starting my own blog for people who are in the same boat as I am.
